Casting Chocolate

The following content is only available if Firmalife is installed. Chocolate does not need to come only in boring bars! Melt down White, Milk, or Dark chocolate in a Vessel or Crucible and then cast it into a mold to obtain chocolate confections. There are three types of chocolate confections: Hearts, Bells, and Knives. Each is obtained by casting chocolate into a different mold.

Chocolate confections provide the same nutrition as chocolate bars, but they are faster to eat. However, if these confections are prepared at specific times of the year, they will gain a trait that doubles their nutrition. Chocolate Hearts gain the Romantic trait in Februrary, Chocolate Winter Bells gain the Festive trait in December, and Chocolate Candy Knives gain the Scary trait in October.

Moreover, confections can be filled to gain additional benefits. Confections filled with Jam have extra Fruit nutrition. Confections filled with Alcohol give positive potion effects.

Eating chocolates filled with Sweet Liquor gives a speed buff.

Eating chocolates filled with Strong Liquor gives damange resistance.

Eating chocolates filled with Whiskey gives haste.
